Mrs Mary Tobbin Osei is an accomplished Social Development Consultant and a Business Entrepreneur with nearly twenty-five (25) years’ working experience in government agencies, private sector companies and non-governmental organisations. Mary has spent most of her working life managing international development projects and developing and managing local businesses.
Currently, Mary is a co-owner and the Chairperson of the BoD of Nakopong Company Limited and also the Director in charge of Human Resource and Public Relations. She is also the managing consultant of the Kanko Associates Limited, the GESI and Advocacy specialist for WABiCC and the CEO of the Nampa Enterprise. She is also the Team Lead for a Technical Assistance Team, supporting the Ministry of Finance and the EU Delegation in Ghana to manage the CSO-RISE Programme. Mary is also the founder, chairperson of the BoD of Samuel Amo Tobbin Foundation. Until recently she was the Deputy Team leader for STAR Ghana.
Mary has led advocacy campaigns at the international, national and grassroots levels. With her strong passion for social justice, Mrs Osei has extensive experience in mainstreaming vulnerability issues, including gender equality and social inclusion, into programming. She has worked in diverse sectors in the development arena in Ghana, West Africa and beyond. She has great understanding of the Ghanaian governance context and extensive experience in supporting CSOs and brokering relations between diverse actors for effective development programming.
